Um, your signature somewhat blinds me. D:
The background div is colourful, so having a blue overlay with green text on it sort of hurts the eyes - not to mention the links can't be seen. Plus the border is too wide, I'd suggest leaving the border at 2px, keeping it as is, or ridge, then change the overlay div to something peach coloured, with a little darker brown/orange text, or pink, depending on what you like, and it should work out better. And text formatting could use consistancy and smilies, ewww.
