Obligatory.

I've been to three proms in my time. One for the end of secondary school, one for the end of college and one for the end of university. The end of college one was the best though. I did a little set up with the head boy. We both did Physics so in one of our lessons, I arranged it so that I would give a little surprise speech to my peers. Only a small handful of people knew in advance.

So he calls my name, I walk up on stage and look to my peers. I begin my speech, which I have pretty much remembered off by heart to this very day.

"Attention collegues."

Now for some reason, the audience burst into laughter. I think it was the tone in which I said it in or something, but yeah, it threw me off for a split moment. Fortunately I recovered quickly.

"We have gathered here tonight for one reason. To celebrate the end of our college education. Many obsticles have swarmed us . . . from the darkest abyss."

I get some more genuine laughter, which spurs me on.

"We rose against these challenges. We vanquished our opponents! Now . . . We . . . REIGN SUPREEEEEEEME!

A fairly long pause to let it sink in before my conclusion.

"I have one last thing to say to all of you. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours, whatever they may be. Thank you."

I bow and the room erupts into cheer. I outstaged the vice principle's speech, which was pretty genius. Everyone seemed to enjoy my speech and a couple of people complimented me on it too. Damn good times . . .

Oh hey, guys; how's it going? I got back from my teaching apprentice class in school and now I'm just chilling out in study hall.

As for the topic on hand, I have a suit, but I only use it for (formal) parties.
 
I'm more of a pants girl, not denim though.

Do you hate it when you befriend someone one minute, then they get permabanned the next?

It irritates me seeing someone have such a short lifespan on PC and today, it happened again!

If I see posts from someone who just got permabanned, I report the mods to delete it cos that user is no longer existent.

Also, it's annoying when a permabanned user is stalking and lurking around.

I like to dress up in suits, personally. Makes me feel important and professional. I prefer wearing shorts to pants when it's warm enough outside. I'd much rather wear dresses all the time but I'm the wrong gender for that, lol.

I have never worn a suit before to anything... I just dress more nicely with fancier button downs and pants when I go to things with a stricter dress code. Also never went to either of my school's proms that I was eligible to go to.

I did recently buy one for job interviews and the like, though. Maybe I'll don it for PC and post it in the picture thread.
