A few months ago my school installed these fancy new projectors without bothering to install any security on them, so any idiot with an app could take over them and project whatever they wanted. Me and some friends did this at the time, and eventually the teachers figured out a way to block us from connecting.
Recently I found a way around this, as well as more loopholes in the security. I had to do a little coding myself to take full advantage of these, but now I can
- remotely project any image or video
- disable and enable projectors
- freeze frame projectors
- change the input device
- zoom in and out
- raise or lower the volume
- connect to multiple projectors at once
- swap the inputs of two or more projectors
- mess with any of the display settings, such as color balance, brightness and resolution
I tested some of these today, but most of them I've been saving for tommorow >:)
TLDR: I'm less of a "prankster" and more accurately described as "complete troll dbag".
