The Leave/Return Thread

Welcome back Windy. How did the year of the goat go?
 
Aaaaah, feels good to be back. Since they put that rule that under twelves can't be part, I was really sad for a couple of days. I thought about doing another account with my false age but I decided not to. I turned 13 last August and checked my account, but I was still banned. Yesterday, I contacted the forum's webmaster and he de-banned my account. So yeah, it feels good to be back! :)

Yeah, the whole COPPA thing can be hard to cope with, given it made you suffer an almost 2-year-hiatus but still glad to see you're old enough to return and everything worked out well.

I'm not sure if you remember who I was, but yeah lots of changes happened at PC during your forced absence. Such as name changes coming back, and new faces on staff along with others moving up or retiring, and of course changes to sections as well but still the same old PC underneath.

Well, have fun with getting back into the swing of things and if you ever want to talk I'm still happy to accept a visitor message or a friend request!

Oh yes I was the one who sent your very first (albeit unresponded) VM! And yeah I'm a mentor on the new incarnation of the Adoption Center, but this time around the mentors can only have one member assigned and I've already got someone so I'm currently unavailable to recruit you but do check in next month when my first mentee will be able to graduate from the program.

I'm still happy to answer questions via VMs nonetheless though, so feel free to ask!

Anyway! I was V-Create on this a year ago :) I'm back in hopes of becoming way more active. Wooohooo!

The year came out not as much as I thought as well, so I know how you feel. But hey, here's hoping things will go better for you and it's great to see you back here at PC! Hopefully you can get active again on a full-time basis.
 
Hello everyone.
Well, I'm back. I'm not sure many people remember me, though. I was "Rainy Garden of Fire" before this. I had changed my name a year ago into my Chinese name, but I did nothing afterwards. I was focusing on other games, but I'm back to playing Pokémon. I made a new account because I forgot my password and my e-mail address is no longer active. So, here I am now. Hopefully I can do lots of stuff here, maybe trade some Pokémon and send them to battle...

....In the last year I've realised I'm transgender and have been transitioning accordingly!

What this means for you is that I now go by Josephine/Jo all the time (no Joe, Joseph or Joey please, but Josie is fine as a nickname if you like), as well as preferring the pronouns she/her and anything else you can think of in regards to treating me as the gender I actually am* instead of what you used to think of me as.

Hope you can all understand, and that I can get stuck back in this lovely community straight away! :D

I don't think I recall welcoming you before, but it's always nice when members come back. I'm sure the trading and battling departments here are definitely happy to have you around, and hopefully you can stick around this time.

This is it. This is me signing off for an undefined amount of time. You could say I'm being contracted (which is what's happening) and I don't think I will have much time to talk to you people over yonder. While my time here was short lived, I had a blast. Unfortunately I have several things here left undone and it bugs me, so I'll try and pop in every no and again but I think I won't round here for months and months, perhaps even years! Well, that tears it! I'm leafing, n' the're nuffink you c'n do ta stap meh! This one is on me guys.

That is sad to hear you're calling it quits, but I wish you all the best with your real life endeavors and prepare for your future outside of PC. Farewell for now Coffee and it was so nice having you with us!
 
Hey guys. After being absent for over 2 months, I decided to come back.
I also returned to gaming as well. Im playing Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs for the first time and riding my way to the victory on Raikou!
Anyway, past 2 months werent the best ones and it felt too weird trying to ignore Pokemon, so yeah, since that didnt work out, Im returning to Pokemon and this forum.
Nevertheless, this forum really can take a lot of one's time so I am not going to be constantly on as I used to. I'll be around though :)

tl;dr, I'm back.
