Hey guys! I am here to announce my partial/maybehopefullypermanent return to the Pokecommunity! I originally joined this party a long long, loooooooong time ago, so I'm not expecting any of the oldies here to remember me, or even to still be active on here...

However! I am excited and more than willing to make new friends with everyone. So if you wish, feel free to send me a message! :)

I'm not sure we recognize each other yet (I joined back in 2011) but that may change in due time, and with all the changes things may take time to get used to again but still, it's great to see you back just in time for the new year. It's always exciting when old faces come back, since it opens up opportunity to make new friends and find new stuff to discover.

Alright, so here it goes.

I've been going through a Pokemon marathon for almost two years now, after I've decided to be a more active Pokemon fan in terms of gaming. In just two-ish years I went through Yellow, Crystal, FireRed, Emerald, Platinum, Soulsilver, PMD Explorers of Time, PRanger Shadows of Almia.

This is a lot, at least for me. I've been consistently playing it without any pauses really. I also came back to the forums and became rather active, I just passed 1000 points. It came to the point where I am not enjoying the games as much as I should, and where I am coming to this forum way too often on a daily basis.

I need to take a break. Now when I finished my Soulsilver run, I decided to take a pause/break from Pokemon games. Consequently, the same goes for this forum. This forum and many people on it really grew on me but if I dont do this, I am risking getting actually tired of playing Pokemon.

Just like two years ago, when I had Platinum, PMDEO Darkness and PM SAO waiting in my desk, I now came across White, PMDEO Sky and PR Guardian signs, so I'm already set up to come back to Pokemon games. Therefore I am most likely going to return to the forums. I dont know if it's going to be a day, week, month or longer.

Anyway, considering I became a really active member over the past 2 years, I figured it would be fair of me to let you guys know, rather than vanishing for no apparent reason. Anyway, if anyone needs anything, I will still be checking forums today, which are next 12 hours, give or take, after that I'm logging off, and won't be visiting for a time.

I understand if you're losing interest in Pokemon, but let's hope you can return to the franchise when you feel the time is right to do so because it'd stink to lose you forever. Good luck with what other things you plan to focus on for the time being, and I'll always be here when you do decide to come back!

I definitely am not losing interest. I cant see how that could happen. It's just like...with food.
If you love pizza, you might get to the point where you're eating too much, and because of that, it might lose the charm and it wouldn't taste as good. So you refrain from eating it for a while, and after a while it again tastes like the best thing ever :)

Welcome back then, Celeste! I can feel what it's like when you join, barely post anything and then disappear for a long time but hopefully you can stay active again this time!

It also appears you love Ghost-type Pokemon as well, given I saw you in the Ghost-type club. They surely are very interesting, thanks to all the unique traits and type combinations we have gotten from them so far. There's other places you may want to visit as well, but I'll leave the exploring up to you for now.

I know how much real life can get in the way, and exams are always important when you have to do those. But at least you've now got more time on your hands you definitely picked a great time to come back! Also, how did you enjoy the Hoenn remakes? I know I'm having fun with them so far, so maybe you can consider visiting our Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire board, which has been growing fast with fans here and you'll find nice topics on the games to discuss.
