I know that some people who plays the Nintendo games love The Legend of Zelda Series while some people who plays the PlayStation games love Final Fantasy Series. I wanted to see which has more fans, so I'm made this poll to see how many of you prefer The Legend of Zelda Series and how many of you prefer Final Fantasy Series.

I personally prefer Final Fantasy Series partly because they have very good graphics and very fantasy surrealism. XD The only The Legend of Zelda game that has very awesome graphics is Twilight Princess, the second bests are the Toon Link games. XD Huge difference in graphics.

well, I have played both series, but I prefer more the FF series, Its more real and irreal at the same time XD, I mean, it has death, danger, etc. and it's fights, actions scenes, storyline is very well thought!

So you're saying the game with the better graphics is the better game, sweetie? =/

I would use the whole graphics don't make the game, the gameplay does, however, those two franchises are completely genres. The Legend of Zelda is an action adventure game series, while Final Fantasy is a JRPG series.

Well seeing as though, I'm a Nintendo fanboy, I will have to say The Legend of Zelda series.
I guess this whole thread is all about preference.

Also sweetie, the last good FF game I played was FF6 in my opinion, you know, before the over-ally weaboo/anime saturation came into the franchise. *Braces for angry VMs.* XD

    Zelda.

Final Fantasy is pretty straight forward and it's pretty hard to write fanfiction for most of the games because of the plot development that's done within them. Zelda is simple, open-ended in areas and has hilarious lines like "GET IN THERE AND KEEP QUIET YOU STUPID KID" and fish people who marry fairy people via tricking them with stones and don't forget the story of a lonely skull kid who found a mask who made him a naughty skull kid and he tried to blow up the world with the moon. :<

    3. More. Days. [Large moons scare me now. ;_;]

I don't have memories like this from FFX or FFVII and I loved both those games. They don't have near the replay value for me either. I just beat Twilight Princess for the 8th time [Since January that is. I'm pathetic I know. TT-TT] last night and I d'awwwd all over that ending in ways I never have with FF. u_u

    Gannon > Sephiroth.

    Sorry, it just had to be said. XD;

Sephiroth doesn't play tennis with lightsaber beams of light now does he.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the open endedness of Zelda was just so much more appealing to me. I've written so much drabble on LotZ as well as put together ~my own version~ of the Zelda timeline [highly debate-able if you ask me. xD;] and again, I've always got a zelda game on my list.

My two favorite games from both series are FFVIII and the Legend of Zelda Ballad of the Wind Fish.

That song..... at the end of Wind Fish....

    .... eeee <3

The game glitches, the sound glitches and the graphics glitch but still, I love it all the same.

And Chickens can't kill you in the dead of the night in FF now CAN THEY. n_n

No, but they can be your faithful steeds. ;)

I'm a Nintendo fan, so I have to prefer The Legend of Zelda series.
I've never played any Final Fantasy game before, though I have heard plenty about it. It seems like a very decent game.

Final Fantasy for the most part, but exceptions like XII made me think a second time about my choice.
I find the well worn 'save the world' storyline better than 'save the princess' simply because there is a much higher stake, save when the royal blood always has to be involved in a ritual that will rule the world.
The antagonists and protagonists are always different in Final Fantasy, but The Legend of Zelda usually deals with Link/zelda or his descendants that manage to look exactly like them. Sure, link is nice and all, but it adds nothing to the flavor, even if there are two generations of carbon copy emo's on the playstation, and a third that is a creepy monkey robot thing. The characters also have significantly more storyline and background(save FF1, 2, and 3) than I have ever seen in a LoZ game, and I even cried because of some of the scenes in Final Fantasy. The Legend of Zelda definitely wins in dungeon crawlers though, the puzzles are the main reason I(and I would assume many others) play. There isn't any doubting it, even if it gets way too frustrating at times.
Final Fantasy needs more strategy everywhere else though. Zelda was cursed to be an action game, and therefore required much less battle strategy. You could beat ganon without getting any heart containers, but if you weren't a high enough level on Final Fantasy, tough luck, you had to go out and train. And this is just opinion, but I find Final Fantasy to have the best music track of any video game, series or not, so that's a huge plus in this department.

Um, that's all I can think of right now, so yeah :(

No. XD I just like better looking graphics. XD I actually prefer any Toon Link games than Twilight Princess because Toon Link games are better in my opinions. X3 Plus I'm not gonna vote in this poll because it's not fair for me to vote since I made this poll.

I...honestly...could not vote for one. KJSHJSFH Because I LOVE both the Zelda games and FF games. Both can be pretty nostalgic too... ;__; I love Zelda's gameplays and storylines. And the wordless hero. lol Zelda is really pretty too and I love the power of the goddesses and all the magic and adventure and AAHHHH

FF games offer lots of adventure and good storyline too. =3 Sometiems good gameplay, sometimes I prefer turn-based (though recently they haven't been using turn-based anymore) and I can go back on some of the older FF games and still anjoy it. =D

Both are great series, But i'm not going to vote on which one's better, since they're both such different games, you can't really compare them.

Since I began gaming, I've always had trouble getting either of the series. Since the second half of last year, I've actually become mildly into the Zelda games so I'm going to have to go for it over Final Fantasy.

Voted Final Fantasy just because I love FF1 and Tactics Advance both are so awesome games!
Final Fantasy 1 has great fighting system (like in every FF), good bosses and other good things.
FFTA has also great fighting system, good missions, awesome story, good and hard bosses and it takes time to beat everything in it. EU VC needs FF1! Give it to us (ME) now!!!

Now to The Legend of Zelda:
I've played Zelda 1, Link To The Past, Ocarina of Time and Minish Cap. Every of those are good too.
I have TLoZ and TLoZ: Ocarina of Time on my Wii. Every Zelda game are good because of good storyline, interesting places, hard puzzles and secrets.
My favorite of these is Minish Cap. I just like it. It has everything that it needs and also those things that you can buy with Mysterious Shells are awesome little feature.

I constantly have to put up with my two friends arguing over this one lol. I put Final Fantasy but only because I have more experience with this game. I'm not really a big fan of Final Fantasy, but I do like Final Fantasy 12 and tactics. I much prefer games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect, so I tend to interrupt those arguments by spurting something about Bioware. That often does the trick to silence them. :P

Zelda because FF is too... cliché. Saying that I do actually prefer the Mass Effect (soon to be) trilogy over the both of them so...
