beat rival barry went on, tutorial crap, got to jubilife, more boring rival crap. beat him again (thank god for taunt stopping his growl spam) Chimchar evolved into Monferno
got to oreburg, went north caught Twilight the Ponyta met roark in the mines.

Dragon mono Blaze Black 2 first update:

- Started the game and named rival Hugh
- Picked Snivy as my starter and named him Smug

- Cheren was a tougher fight than I expected
- Baron fainted against his Lillipup, but Smug took over and scraped out the win with 6 hp remaining!

*FINAL UPDATE* -Soul silver flying

well it only took 2 months from the last update, and almost 5 months from when I started... finally the Challenge is complete

my story is a simple yet long one, after my last update grinding got harder to do, and thus finding motivation to continue was hard too. I attempted to beat red about a month back, but I failed miserably haha. since then I had been slowing grinding a dratini to a dragonite, so I could combat his pikachu that swept me on my first try. just last night I found some motivation to do some bulk grinding, and i was able to finally finish the challenge today.

Battle summary: (warning, it's a long read)

Spoiler:

-battle started with me sending out dragonite and using extreme speed, taking about 40% of his Pikachu's hp away
-hail bombarded him until he was down to low hp, I went to use extreme speed again but somehow messed up. Red then used a full restore
-repeted above, and didn't mess up. 1 down.
-Red then sent out lapras, which I easily took out by sending out my gyarados and healing him along with using dragon dance. then I used strength to k.o it. 2 down
-Then he sent out his venasaur. keeping gara in I just did the same as above until hail put it in the red, of course I somehow lost gara before knocking it out. noctowl then defeated it with air slash. 3 down
-snorlax was troublesome o_o gara had to be revived a couple times until I finally took it out with avalanche. 4 down
-to make this one short, it was a revive fest for charizard. Red used 2 full restores before I could finally take it out. 5 down
-I was easily able to defeat Blastoise, I healed until it ran out of blizzard attacks, then prepared by letting hail bring it to low hp while gara used dragon dance. finally ending the battle by using strength and thus knocking it out

Blaze Black 2 Dragon mono- Update 2

- Proceeded into Virbank Complex and defeated the 3 workers
- Received TM94 and a Sun Stone as rewards
- Leveled Puff, Clair and Baron to lv 19 and proceeded into the gym
- Smug was at level 23, but I did not intend on using him
- This gym was far tougher than I anticipated
- I lost Puff to explosion from Trubbish
- Clair and Baron fell to Whirlipede
- I thought I was dead, but Smug managed to save the day with several Dragon Rage's to defeat Whirlipede and Koffing
- I received the Toxic Badge from Roxie

Update for Final Ultimate Monotype Challenge - Water!

It's been several months, so for reference, here's my last update, which was the start of the postgame.

Final Update (#7) on Black 2.

Ultimate Champion.

• Eventually fought all the trainers I could, ending with the sea routes 18 and 19, where I found the Plasma Frigate.

• Next I went to Undella Town, beat Tyson, my rival, then challenged Cynthia. She was tough as usual.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Continued my miniboss spree by taking down Morimoto and Nishino, who weren't too challenging.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Did some moveset finalizing (mostly replacing HM moves) and a little EV training.
• Then I got everyone to L77 and declared myself ready for Round 2 of the Elite 4.
