UPDATE #2 - COMPLETE

PROGRESS:

Spoiler:

• Beat Volkner pretty much single-handedly with my Gliscor. His Luxray's Ice Fang did pose a threat, but other than that, it was a walk in the park. Can't imagine the fight with Gliscor though. Yikes.
• Caught Skimberly the Docile Mantyke on Route 223. Thought I wouldn't use her, but the Ice resistance was pretty tempting, and in a very unexpected turn of events, I kicked my OG 'mon Staraptor out of the team, since my Togekiss was giving me all that type coverage.
• Used Victory Road mostly to level up my (newly evolved - thanks to Remoraid) Mantine. So many Rock/Ground types there that it wasn't too hard, though she started off quite underleveled. When I'd run low on PP, I'd use my Togekiss and Aura Sphere. She ended up getting pretty high-leveled in the process.
• Reaching the Elite Four, I thought I was a little underleveled with all my Pokemon, with the exception of Togekiss, in the mid-40s range. But I thought I'd give it a go anyway.
• Aaron was no problem. My Togekiss's Air Slash led me to victory.
• Bertha also wasn't much of a threat, again thanks to Togekiss's Aura Sphere and Grass Knot and Mantine's Surf.
• Flint wasn't too much trouble with a Mantine and Gliscor.
• Lucian is where things got a little trickier. My Vespiquen was definitely underleveled and therefore wasn't as helpful as she could have been. Thankfully I still had Honchrow and Drifblim to take care of business but with attacks like Thunderbolt and Stone Edge, Lucian didn't go down so easily.
• Cynthia gave me quite a bit of trouble. Had my Vespiquen been higher leveled, I probably gould have gotten some good stalling strategy going, but alas. Togekiss took out Spiritomb with brute force, and put Cynthia's Togekiss to sleep. Gliscor then Swords Danced and KO'd Cynthia's Togekiss with Rock Slide. She switched into Melotic, who I stalled out with Vespiquen and a bit of help from Mantine, who only received normal damage from Ice Beam. Gliscor took out Lucario and after Togekiss put Garchomp to sleep, Mantine had an easy enough time. In the end, all she had left was Roserade, who Honchrow OHKO'd with Fly.

- Taught FISHMOONEY Water Pulse so she would have a Water-type move.
- Went to Celadon, picked up an Eevee to turn into Vaporeon. I dub thee STONER.
- Evolved and trained STONER.
- Made my way through the Rocket Hideout. I may just be overleveled for this.
- With Silph Scope in hand, decided to tackle the Pokemon Tower before Erica.
- ROSHI evolved after my next battle with SPONGE.
- Got the Poke Flute and used it to get past the southern Snorlax so I could grab the Super Rod.
- Used the Rod to catch a Horsea (CHARYBDIS) and trained him some.
- Erika and her Gym actually gave me a good bit of trouble, but still managed to get a win on my first try.
- Made it to Fuschia City, got the Good Rod for completions' sake and used my Super Rod to fish up a Seaking (FLOUNDER).
- Did the Safari Zone stuff to get Surf.
- Trained on Route 14. FLOUNDER is proving to be more useful than I expected. CHARYBDIS evolved, too.
- Beat Koga.
- Tackling Silph Co. Can't help but feel as if I sequence-broke somehow because I am 10 levels higher than everyone here.
- Got a Lapras (TITANIC)
- Took on the Fighting Dojo and Sabrina's Gym, then flew to Pallet Town and started south to Cinnabar.
- Taught TITANIC a few TM Moves (Shock Wave and Psychic)

Update Number Eight!

Massive Update!

Spoiler:

-Defeated Clemont for my fifth Kalos gym badge
-Proceeded to route 14 and toward Laverre City
-Arrived in Laverre City and took down Valerie for my sixth Kalos Gym Badge.
-Proceeded to the Pokeball Factory for another meeting with Team Flare!
-Easily defeated The team Flare grunts and the team flare admin, before taking on Team Flare's Celosia and Bryony with the help of Serena.
-After, I proceeded to route 15, where I caught my fifth member of my team; a Lombre
-Trained Lombre to catch up to the rest of my team.
-After reaching level 45, I used a water stone on her, evolving her into a Ludicolo
-Proceeded down route 16, defeating all the trainers in my path, before returning to route 15 to proceed to the snowy town Dendemille Town.
-Ran to the Frost Cavern where I encountered Team Flare once again.
-I easily defeated them, saving Abomasnow at the same time!

Wow I put that off WAY TOO LONG! I think I got it all up to speed, make sure to check on your entries on the OP though and let me know if anything needs to be adjusted. With Sun and Moon on the way, you all should be aware of the fact that I will be making a new thread at the start of next year. In the new thread, Ultimates will become an even more daunting task, requiring Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and whatever the newest region is. Dark and Steel of course omit Kanto still, and Fairy will be just Kanto, Hoenn and the new region. If you want to get your name on the champion list of this thread it will have to happen BEFORE January 1st, 2017. As is currently the case, old threads will be linked back from the new threads.

Ultimate Bug Monotype Challenge: Heart Gold

I am still grinding for Red. Every time I think I'm ready I fail miserably. It is quite challenging, which is why I moved on to Alpha Sapphire some time ago so I was still making Bug progress. Grinding mostly against the E4. I am strong enough to beat all but Lance without issue.

I have a full team all together on this one now, so it's all about sailing to the end now. My team is pretty varied surprisingly. I think only gen 6 has so many varied Rock Types.

I have a bunch of other challenges running too, but I'm gonna focus on getting through these three first I think.

-Proceed down route 17, catching the final member of my team a Snover.
-Trained Snover to catch up to the rest of my team. Snover evolved into Abomasnow!
-Arrived in Anistar City
-Easily Defeated Serena
-Took on the Anistar Gym (My Favorite Kalos Gym)
-Easily took down gym leader Olympia for my 7th Kalos gym badge.
-Made my way back to Lumiose City
-Arrived in Lysandre Labs, easily taking down Lysandre and Team Flare
-Proceeded back to Geosenge Town
-Entered Team Flare Super Secret Headquarters!!!!!
-Took down all of the Team Flare Grunts and Admins
-Took down Lysandre twice, catching the mythical Pokemon Xerneas
-Saved AZ from the evil hands of Team Flare
-Proceeded to Route 18
-Arrived in Couriway Town
-Proceeded down Route 19, continuing to train my beloved team
-Took down Shauna, Tierno, and Trevor
-Arrived in Snowbell City
-Made my way to Route 20, toward the mossy stone.
-Leveled Up Eevee, evolving it into Leafeon
-Met up with Gym Leader Wulfric in the Pokemon Village
-Defeated him back at his gym for my eighth and final Kalos gym badge!
-Proceeded down Route 21 and entered Victory Road!
-After wandering around Victory Road, I Serena challenged me to a battle
-Defeated Serena in a hard fought battle.

Ultimate Mono Type Challenge: Grass
Update Number Ten!

Spoiler:

-Progressed through the remainder of Victory Road, battling every trainer in sight.
-Arrived at the Pokemon League, ready to become a Pokemon Master ;)
-Stocked up at the market and challenged the Elite Four.
-The biggest pain was Malva. It took me a few tries to beat her, but eventually Ludicolo was too much for her. She took out a majority of her Pokemon.
-Gogoat single handily brought down Siebold.
-It was a team effort against Drasna, but I took her down on my first attempt.
-Wikstrom took two attempts, mainly because of his Scizor (Dang Bullet Punch)
-Champion Diantha wasn't a problem at all. I easily took her down on my first attempt!
-After entering the Hall Of Fame ☺ and received my medal for defeating Team Flare, AZ challenged me to a battle.
-After taking down AZ, he was reunited with his beloved Floette.
-And with that our hero Ded was now finished with his second region. He has now successfully taken down two villainous teams (Magma and Flare), caught multiple legendary Pokemon, and dethroned the champions of both the Hoenn and Kalos regions!
-Like when he left the Hoenn region, Ded decided to leave his entire party with his Mom back in Littleroot.
-With zero pokemon on hand, Ded has decided to travel to the Sinnoh region looking for even more Grass Pokemon to add to his collection!
