Surprisingly false. I have caught numerous Shinys by other methods however. My latest being a Shiny Lileep by Soft Reset.

The person below has caught a Shiny and been underwhelmed by its Shiny Colouration.

That would have to be me. I caught a Shiny Paras on Sloo's Pokemon : Giratina Strikes Back ROM hack and was pretty underwhelmed with the shiny considering that you'd have to look at both the normal Paras and the shiny variant to tell the difference. But it was a shiny nonetheless.

The person below me has played all the generations of Pokemon to date (at this moment in time, Sun and Moon hasn't been released yet so that would be six generations of Pokemon).
