But it's nothing compared to what the person below me did, though. They said that they don't like Pikachu or Charizard in any way, shape, or form... to Game Freak's face!
 
I don't dislike Pikachu, I merely think it's overrated.
I do dislike Charizard nowadays, but that's mostly Game Freak's fault and not necessarily the mon itself.
Anyway... how would I tell it to their face? Look up their business address and go to Japan? Yeah that ain't happening. It's too costly and not worth it for something among these lines.

I wouldn't say avoid. Normal is an interesting type. It isn't a super-effective match-up against any other type, so it's not a typing that you specifically need to carry as a counter. But an advantage to using normal pokemon is that they often have a giant movepool, and by being neutral to many different types of pokemon you can sculpt them to fit the needs of your team, especially now with the introduction of tera types. So I'm going to answer false.

True, to an extent. I owe a lot to Pikachu for inspiring Mimikyu, my favourite Pokémon. Without Pikachu, there would probably be no Raichu either. And what would a world without Mimikyu and Raichu look like? I don't know, but I don't wanna live in it either.

The person below me's favourite Elite Four is a member of the Paldea Elite Four.
 
False, I used them for roaming legendaries back in the day. Now I would use it for a very important shiny pokemon.

Tpbm has has lost a battle entirely due to stupid hax like getting immobilized by paralysis over and over, or an opponent's quick claw activating every turn.
