Ok... I tried to remember what you said... so I'm not going to write in the same order as you said... and PLEASE! FOR PETE'S SAKE! call me Max.

Ok... Pikachu doesn't like to get into the pokeball because (this was said by PokeDex) some pok?mon doesn't like to be in pokeballs. That's a reason why he's on Ash's shoulder. And Pikachu licked Ash because... he is too small for hugigng him or something else! he's even too small for his hand!. And Chikorita gets jealous because of anything! Chikorita didn't get jealous... she got mad, because Ash and Pikachu are very close friends.

Again... Ash and Pikachu have a very close friendship. That's why he returned to Ash.

The way he acts and sounds are not important. All pok?mon sounds the same... of course in their species. Pikachu(s) sound like that because he can't get a deep voice because of his height or size.

The forth one... you don't even remember that one.

And they've always just said 'it' when referring to Pikachu.

So, I don't know how or where you got the idea that in that episode Ash said Pikachu was a boy, cause I know that never happened.

Anyway, here's some evidence for the fact that Pikachu's a girl:

1. Pikachu shows a lot of affection for Ash (just like Chikorita/Bayleef does), it likes staying on his shoulder, and it never wants to go inside its Pokeball, that sounds to me like Pikachu really loves Ash (also, at the end of the very first episode, Pikachu licked Ash, and in the 3rd season episode, "Chikorita's Big Upset", Chikorita even got jealous of Pikachu, cause Ash wanted to return Chikorita and use Pikachu instead, so Chikorita probably wouldn't have gotten jealous, if Pikachu was a male).

2. In the first season episode "Pikachu's Goodbye", Pikachu came back to Ash at the end, instead of staying with all those wild Pikachu, and if it was a male, it probably would have wanted to stay there (and this is also more evidence that Pikachu's in love with Ash).

3. Pikachu doesn't act like a male at all, and it definitely doesn't sound like one.

4. In one of the Master Quest episodes when they were at the Whirl Cup, Pikachu was in the audience and it was wearing a cute little pink jacket (or something like that).

And that's all I can think of for now, but I know there's a lot more evidence.

Umm... Well think of it this way. say u have a male cat? Say he's really attached to u (like PIkachu is to Ash) if the cat did that would u think it's a female? Um no u wouldn't. and they've had Ash wear a pink Jacket b4 as well....
 
i dont know what pikachu is..i think its a guy though.

Well, first of all, Max, it may just be a friendship to you, but to me, I think it's more than that. I mean, I'm a Pikashipper, so I think that Pikachu's in love with Ash. Although, I don't think Ash feels the same way about Pikachu, but he does love Pikachu a lot. But, anyway, the point I was trying to make there is that Pikachu has a crush on Ash, and loves him the same way that Chikorita/Bayleef does, so that means Pikachu's a girl.

And also, about how Pikachu sounds, haven't you noticed?

I mean, there have been other Pikachu in the Pokemon anime, but Ash's Pikachu is the only one who's had that high-pitched voice. And all the other Pikachu (like all the ones in "Pikachu's Goodbye" except for the baby one, Ritchie's Pikachu - Sparky, and Victor's Pikachu - Pooka) have all had lower, more male sounding voices.

they probably have a woman playing Pikachu's voice. they do that with Anime guys as well. have wemon play as boys. honestly... Pikachu and Ash are best friends like MAx and Jarachi were in Jarachi wishmaker.
 
i know that a girl only makes Pikachu's voice (Ash's) but i don't remember her name ^^; i think it's Ikuue Ootani (i think)
 
Actually her name is Veronica Something XD. Actually, that you think Pikachu is female doesn't he is a girl. And Pikachu doesn't have a crush... oh! possibly he has that "high-pitched' voice you say, because he is a little kid. I learned that you can't just always focus on what you think... there are many other reasons that can beat you faste than a wink.
