Not as common, but some personal favorites:

Caterpie (swallowtail caterpillars)
Lickitung (lungless salamanders)
Nincada, Ninjask, and Shedinja (cicada nymphs, adults, and shed skins)
Trapinch line (antlions, mayflies, and sanddragons)
Burmy (bagworms)
Eelektrik OR Milotic (freshwater lampreys), rare
Frosmoth (flannel and luna moths)

Plus Starters:

Snivy (greensnakes)
Litten (tabbies)

Common: Rattata, Pikachu, Pidgey, Spearow, Starly, Pikipek, Buneary, Scorbunny, Skwovet/Greedent, Beedrill, Combee/Vespiquen, Psyduck, Spinarak, Farfetch'd, Kricketot, Pineco, Meowth, Purrloin, Litten, Lillipup, Poochyena, Caterpie/Metapod/Butterfree, Wurmple/Silcoon/Beautifly/Dustox, Scatterbug/Spewpa/Vivillon, Petilil, and Budew/Roselia

Uncommon: Fomantis, Ledyba/Ledian, Illumise/Volbeat, Yanma, Stunky, and Cottonee

Rare: Tympole, Deerling/Sawsbuck, Stantler, Ekans, Zubat, Rowlet, Hoothoot, Squirtle, and Chewtle

Saw no good parallel for turkeys. Falls under rare.
