    The PokéCommunity chat has been my home from home on PC for many years, though I haven't been as active during the last two years or so, I've started coming in again to relive the times I've had with the friends I made there and even make new friends while I frequent there once more as a regular. So far I'm enjoying it very much and I recommend this place to anybody else with a keen interest in socialising and meeting new people.

    I think it's wonderful that you've taken the time to bring the chat to the attention of more members, and I do hope more people take an interest in what we have to offer there!
     
    Love it! Thanks for this update, really appreciate it. I think this will go over well since lots of members chat through vms/pms *cough* me *cough*.

    Ok, so I just tried to go into the chat room but it says that I'm not connected to a channel.
    So then when I click the 'channel' button, it says that I'm not connected period.
    Then i try to connect and the message pops up saying 'access denied'.

    I think the reason it said that is because I denied the pop up that came up.
    It was asking for access to my computer, and I don't find that very nice.
    I trust the site and all, but I don't want to risk anything.
    Is there a way I can join the chat without having to give you access to my computer and such?

    It's not working for me.

    Each time I laod the chat, there's some error and it won't appear. I'm allowing Java when the box comes up.
     
    I can't connect to IRC either. It might be my client, though. I'm using SwiftIRC (an IRC client built into SwiftKit, a RuneScape toolkit)

    OK cool, thank you for the further explanation. The only problem is when you reload the page, the pop-up doesn't appear again, so I can't accept whether I want to or not. For all I know it could even be my own fault; not very computer savvy ;3

    Well mibbit.com works without having to download anything, afaik.
     
    Well, I logged on earlier and it worked fine. However, now I can't connect. It says "Amore nickname is already in use". Which is true, because I'm using it, but doesn't really make sense. And I can't change it to log on either, as it says "Not Connected" when I try to change my nickname.
