While I really think Grovyle is a pretty awesome name for it, I understand I have to rename it...
I like Grovyle's name, too. :P

You're right, Yanmega is not very mega at all. How about Yanpa. Kind of like how gold(queen) evolves into seaking...

Archeops's name is soooo 800 B.C. We need a more modern name for it.

I like his name :( Let's call him Plumbow, the rainbow plumage Pokémon. :D

Now someone rename Mr. Mime because I find his name rather silly!

Can't we just get rid of the ugly thing? I'll call it Specfin, the spectre coffin!

Now find a new name for Lotad that suits his background a tad more.

But I like Lotad's name :(

Padpole! from lily pad and tadpole.

Can we please give Helioptile a new name?

How about Common Wild Bird that everyone caught on their first run through cause let's face it no one liked Spearow

Comaviar (common aviary)

Now, rename Poochyena, even though I love Poochyena :)

Captain Woofles Let's call him Cavilwoof; the evil canine that... woofs!

Now rename Masquerain into something more memorable!

Shafted for Pikachu

Lunaria
(Luna being Moon, which is important for Clefairy, and Aria being Clefairy's prototyp name according to Bulbapedia)

Now name Scraggy please :)

I'll name it Travagoat, because I'm just that tiny bit less creative than Gamefreak. ;)

Now someone rename Nuzleaf because I don't understand the current name!

Elekid, a combination of Elephant and kid

Miniphant, the miniature elephant.

Let's rename Kyogre, since I always pronounced it as Ky-rogue when I was a kid. XD

How about Neptaqua? Based on the God of the Sea and the element he controls??

Now for: Charmander?

Visiotem, a combination of vision and totem. Makes a lot more sense to me, as it kinda resembles a totem pole and it stares at the sun all day.

Let's see, how about Breloom?
