Ah, yeah. We've owned three horses over the years. We originally had a female, and she was pregnant when we bought her. We trained her baby and then sold him. Then we bought another female, but we had to put that one to sleep last year when she got really sick. ;_;

I'm used to selling horses now. I used to get really sad, but it's part of the family business, whether I like it or not. D:

And that's sad about your mare. ;_; We had to put down our mustang foal in August, do to an accident. I was so sad. D:

Yeah, we had several vets check her out but none of them could figure out what was wrong. She was eating and eating, but for some reason she wasn't getting any nutrients out of her food. The medical testing to figure out what was wrong would have been outrageously expensive, and even then we don't know if we could have saved her.

Aww, that's especially sad that it was a foal. Any kind of death is really sad though. =<
 
Awww, that sounds like one of my old cats, Fuz. She had an overactive thyroid, so she ate like a pig but she was as thin as a bone ;.; She dieda while after we found out. It was really really sad! ;_;

Awww. =< That does sound really similar, Chuu. Although I think this was more serious than an overactive thyroid.
