Ash's Pikachu is my fav, no doubt about that. As for Misty's Pokemon, I like her Psyduck the most.

But anyways, I was disappointed that Pikachu wasn't added to the Unova dex in Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.

Me too. I think he's a bit underrated as a battler. Yes he does have weak defenses, but if you train him properly he can pretty much hold him own. I've always had Pikachu in the lead in my team.

I prefer not to evolve Pikachu, but Raichu is a good Pokemon to have on the team as well.

If I take the Pikachu line to the Elite Four, I make sure to evolve it into Raichu beforehand.

I've always used Pikachu against the Elite Fours. Rrequires a bit of strategy & proper training when you use him, but never had a problem.
