Me too. I think he's a bit underrated as a battler. Yes he does have weak defenses, but if you train him properly he can pretty much hold him own. I've always had Pikachu in the lead in my team.

I've always used Pikachu against the Elite Fours. Rrequires a bit of strategy & proper training when you use him, but never had a problem.
