Surf & Fly are actually good moves to have on the team, especially Surf.

Guess I have to be on Raticate Hate Train as it seems to be turning out.

Surf, Fly, and Waterfall are the only HM's that I consider good. Maybe Defog too, with the buff it got in Pokemon X and Y.

I've used the Spearow line a few times before, and it's pretty good early on. However, I usually switch it out for a better Pokemon later on, like Dodrio.

Not a big Spearow fan at all. Never used it on my team, prefer the Pidgey line.

There's Dodrio, Swellow, Staraptor, Braviary, and Toucannon in my favourites list. Also Togekiss before the Fairy type came along.

I like the Gothita line more, but the Solosis line isn't bad either.
