Zubat was part of an exploration team named Team Skull in PMD, along with Koffing and Skuntank. But after the battle with Primal Dialga, nothing was heard of them anymore. Could they have broken up?

Koffing & Zubat were just sidekicks to Skuntank. All they did was "Whoa-ho-ho" & "Heh-heh-heh".

About Team Skull, you first encounter them as only Zubat and Koffing, without their leader.
