Hey, blue is also my favourite color! Which is one of the reasons I picked Totodile as my starter in Pokemon Silver.

I went for Cyndaquil on my first playthrough, but did choose Totodile for my next one.

Since my Pokemon Silver cartridge would regularly delete my save file, I was forced to restart it over and over again. Most of the time I picked Totodile, but sometimes I'd pick Chikorita or Cyndaquil for a change. In the end, though, Totodile became my go-to Gen 2 starter.

Probably Ice, since it only has one resistance, compared to 4 weaknesses.
