What was worse to me than biking through the sky pillar was facing him. I did not think he was going to be at level 70. Being accessible before you even battle Wallace made me think it was going to be around level 50. After all that climbing and biking I had a team more than 20 levels lower than the most powerful Pokemon in history. And every time you got Rayquaza statused with low health the thing would use rest...joy. I eventually locked him into fly with encore and used protect everytime it went into the air.
I was defiant till the end and evidently Rayquaza was amused by this and let me catch him.

It was my favourite legendary for a long time. I still remember Sky Pillar and I did get a little disappointed when ORAS removed the difficultly of using the Mach Bike to get through. Oh well, it's nice to see a bit of backstory.

I liked the Delta plotline a lot in oras. I know its controversial with fans, but I thought it was something fun to do post game and made the world of Hoenn more textured, an interesting way to bring the new mega forms into the plot. I rode on Rayquaza!

Its a lovely creature. I like that the blue pieces that dangle from his crown are based on tanzaku that people hang from wishing trees during the Tanabata festival-- you write your wish down on the paper. Now that's a good design, they thought out Jirachi well!

The Jirachi movie to me is one of those movies that I prefer in Japanese if possible. I think Jirachi's voice actor is more natural in the original than in the English, but its one of my favorite movies either way.
