I always go for the male version, but the female is cute.

Male nidorans are cute too, and will become a stronger pokemon with the high physical attack of the final evo, but I am partial to the female I think because I am also a girl, and I like the grey blue color scheme. I plan on voting both nidorans up though, love em both.

Ironically, I like blue more than purple, but I like the male Nidoran line more than the female line.

There was an Orange Island episode about a nidoran male and female who loved each other and wanted to be together, but their trainers didn't get along with each other and were always arguing, and kept the two pokemon apart. It was a version of Romeo and Juliet.

I like also that the female is defensive. It's nice to have a solid mon that can take a hit. I like to use the Nido girls in my Kanto runs.

I like Nidorino's design better than Nidorina, but I am still cool with this mon, and would like to see the whole evolutionary line both male and female in the hall of fame.
