Big no. Introduced a strange dirt stripe in the middle. Looks very out of place. Always sees the mouth area as a scruffy beard too.

Now there's also Ursaluna. Which I prefer design wise.

I'll give an upvote. This is fairly powerful for an early route Pokemon.

It can get some pretty extreme combos like Sword's Dance, Quick Attack, and Huge Power.

Locks its Hidden Ability behind lategame or postgame sources. Prevents it from being a star. Sports a pathetic 56 base Attack and 50 base Special Attack otherwise. Barely beats Dustox. Loses to Grookey's 65 base Attack and Scorbunny's 71 base Attack. Needs a Swords Dance to sit on par with other Pokemon.

Somehow waits until level 37 for Dig in X/Y. Fixed that in Sword/Shield. Dropped it to level 28.

Gen 6 introduced few Ground types. Just Diggersby and Zygarde.

New Poison types were scarce too. The only new one was Skrelp/Dragalge. Which also happens to be a version exclusive.
