The Island of the Giant Pokemon episode where Ash's pokemon get lost and try to get directions from Slowpoke is one of my favorites. I loved seeing Pokemon sounds translated with subtitles into a full language. Want more episodes like that.

Slowbro was especially broken in gen 1 when Special was 1 stat. So when it used Amnesia both the special defense and special attack were effectively raised two stages. Calm mind on steroids.

I like some of more abstract, geometric or inanimate pokemon designs like Aegislash, Starmie, Chandelure, the rotom forms, but Magnemite underwhelms me. Will vote up Magnezone when we get to Sinnoh though.
