I honestly like the whole line! Warmed up to it, Stoutland had some really good eps in the SuMo anime.

Interestingly, Lillipup and Herdier are based on Yorkshire terriers. Stoutland has some physical attributes like this breed, but seems to borrow more from the Maltese and Shih Tzu, or so I have read. It gives Stoutland a somewhat different look and feel, but like Sheep, I'm cool with all three.

Not a big fan of dogs either (cats ftw), but herdier and Stoutland I do like. Stoutland in particular looks like it'd make for a great pillow to nap on/against.

Herdier has gotten on my bad side by taking out my Pokemon with moves like Take Down.

Yeah it's stab moves are strong enough that I know others who struggle with Leonora's gym because of the take downs and retaliates. I personally have not had this trouble with Nacrene gym, Roggenrola got me through it fine, but I can see why it could be challenging for others. I still don't think I would get mad at Pokemon though for putting up a good fight, it might just make me sorta want one of my own I think :)

Not that I agree with the Growlithe line being good (as I've always been indifferent on it and neither like nor hate it), but there's also worse dog pokemon such as Snubbul/Granbull.
Snubbul in particular I can't stand.

Sure, it's not as colorful as Riolu, Yamper or Growlithe, but Herdier is still a fine-looking dog Pokémon I think. I'd rather vote it up, it is better than Snubull I agree
