I like Staravia and Fletchinder better too, also Pidgeotto, but I still used this Pokemon in Black, and will be okay with voting up. Most bird-like pokemon are inoffensive to me. The only one I dislike is pelipper.

It has the worst shiny of the line imo, just look at that green/purple combo...

I will take green tranquil over the shiny pidove becauase at least it's a more dramatic color swap. The shiny in the first form doesn't change that much, just a little lighter gray mainly. Unfezant's shiny I like though, the male version, I think the violet plume is nice, and the feathers are more of an irridescent jungle green teal.
This is making me want to go shiny hunting...

I like Wingull, but was disappointed with how much pelipper's design changed. I never warmed up to pelipper, even with drizzle.

I find delibird endearing for being the delivery Pokemon too, bringing Christmas presents and food to all. I know it's frail, but the concept is sweet. So I guess I can see the appeal too with Pelipper carrying Pokemon and eggs in it's beak where they need to go like the stork.

In the bird kingdom the males are usually more colorful than the females. I like how they pay attention to this for Unfezant's design. The male looks absolutely stunning.

Yes, scoop something out of the special attack stat, it's already too low to use, and put those points in special defense. It's got a lot of nice support and healing moves, so if it's defenses could be shored up it could make use of some interesting movesets.
