I like Mimikyu too, and also Marill and Azumarill. It's the likes of Plusle, Minun, and Annoying Stupid Flying Squirrel that bother me.

6. I don't really consider mimikyu the clone for generation 7. togedemaru comes to mind.

Morpeko is creative too, but it's design is a bit too much like pikachu.

4. I like Marill too. I think it's the only 'clone' with an evolution? Once it evolves, it feels like any sort of pikachu resemblance is gone.

If the Pikaclone concept was like Marill (as in having an evolutionary stage and getting a good evolution), it'd be much less bothersome for me.
