Not for me. Whenever I play a Gen 5 game and approach a patch of shaking grass, and this jerk appears, I can only hope it lets me flee.

I don't recall Emolga giving me any troubles in gen 5.
I do remember a sky battle in X/Y where it killed my birb, because I had nothing to deal with it xD

I think Emolga is cute and makes for a decent pikaclone! But I agree it caused a lot of aggravation in Gen 5. 😅

The concept of Pikaclones bugs me too. Ever since Gen 3, we've been getting one-stage Electric type rodents with low stats.
