For some reason, Sw/Sh was not very kind to Mimi. It was essentially locked to post-game by having Fog only be availble after defeating Leon, and its ability Disguise was nerfed so that Mimikyu would take 1/8 damage after having its disguise busted.
That's really mean of Game Freak.

Alola really did like single stage lines lol. I think it needed a pre evolution or an evolution. It's just really forgettable. Other than that, I really like the colors and find it to be pretty unique.
