Calls it the "Tiny Robin" Pokemon. Is not a small robin, though. Looked up robins. Picked the heaviest of the three shown (American Robin). Weighs 2.7 ounces (about 0.17 pounds / 0.08 kilograms). Measures around 5.5 inches to 6.9 inches (14 - 17.5 centimeters).

Compare that to Fletchling. Comes in at 3.7 pounds (1.7 kilograms) and an even 1 foot tall (0.3 meters). Weighs over 20 times more and roughly double the height. Hardly feels "tiny".

20.

One thing I've noticed recently when playing some of the older gens of pokemon is that fire types are rather difficult to obtain. Gen 1 fire types are found late game. Gen 2 fire types have a low encounter rate mid game, and are better found post-game. Gen 3 they're given to you mid game. Gen 4... platinum had to add them in.

Fletching breaks that cycle because it becomes a fire type. That makes it all the more better for an early route mon.
