Sounds like a weird take, but having another pokemon evolve with an evolutionary stone gives said stone more purpose of keeping it in the games. Before this, only Roselia and Togetic evolved with a shiny stone and I used to think shiny stones weren't worth it.

A very nice start to Fairies. Possesses a much more easily seen body than the tiny Flabebe. Added some good color and character by including a flower (sort of like a parasol) without it stealing the show.

One thing I forgot to mention about this line, and possibly Floette, is that it is found in flower patches. The first pokemon game to do this. You can always tell what version of this line you'll get and I much prefer that approach to pokemon with several forms/versions.

She is a beautiful pokemon, and I like the color variations. Don't let her ethereal appearance fool you though, this pokemon's special stats are off the chart, and she is packing plenty of tools to support teammates with.

Got to love how the flowers change depending on her form. Amazing design choice. Always reminded me of the great fairies from Zelda.

A special tank seems like the best approach for a fairy Mon. It makes sense from an RPG standpoint where fairies give the hero special powers or an upgrade.
