I tend to think of Darkrai like he is portrayed in the Rise of Darkrai movie- my favorite pokemon movie, where he's a good guy just misunderstood, the way that Absol tends to be. I know that the Mystery Dungeon games though, or at least Explorers, has a different Darkrai that's more dangerous.
