People hated this line because supposedly ice cream is creatively bankrupt. I highly disagree when a lot of gen 1 mons were just as basic. While an argument could be made with the last evolution, Vanillite is still an original design. A nice use of the blue and ice colors.

Personally I wanted them to be ice and ghost. An ice cream possessed pokemon sounds like something Game Freak would make. Maybe make different flavors as colors.

I love eating ice cream, and am not opposed to a dessert-themed pokemon. I like Alcremie, Dachsbun, Slurpuff, Appletun...but i don't like the way that face on Vanillish looks. Sorry, will vote down.

Vanillish is stacking cream. Enough to make one scream from the brain freeze. Interestingly enough in the Alola region this line is smaller in size. Did it shrink from the heat? Possibly. Or maybe people love eating ice cream so much.

The Ice type has 4 weaknesses and only 1 resistance. I think it needs more resistances.

Vanillish has weak armor as a hidden ability. I think that could work with its high sp. atk. stat.
