I don't know what to say about Gholdengo. On one hand it is an exceptionally powerful pokemon, but that design doesn't feel pokemon like.

Wo-Chien's sp. atk. was lowered within the next update it was released in. Game Freak nerfed a pokemon literally after the 1st patch S/V got. Why?

Wo-Chien lost 5 points in sp. atk and 5 points in phys. def. Doesn't seem like a lot at first glance but usually 5 points can make a difference in attacking. Those loss of 5 points in phys. def. is funny when Wo-Chien is supposed to be tanky but has one of the worst defensive typings. It is clear nobody at Game Freak tested this pokemon out.

Edit: Ok so I read that completely wrong. It lost 5 points in phys. atk., not phys. def. I feel really stupid for not catching that in the moment. That means Wo-Chien is not supposed to fight back as hard, so it is more like a leaf shield with a stick for a complementary weapon. Both of which fall apart way too easily.

Wo-Chien's best move is foul play by default. Base 95 sp. atk. just isn't impressive anymore with most pokemon having an average of above 100. It could work in a casual single-player run, but no way would it be good against something like the final stretches of the game.
