The Regional Variants Game

Cerulean Cave.
Will not show up at all if you don't have a Steel or Dragon type on your team. Will relentlessly attack you in hordes if you do.

Grumpig (Fighting)

Celestic Town during a Full moon. Have a Psychic type Pokemon use Miracle Eye on the shrine in town.
Dense fog will come out of the shrine and Phione will emerge to challenge you.... to a contest of swimming in the sky!
Hopefully you've practiced for it with your Psychic type mon or you're not gonna be able to keep up!

Florges (Grass/Poison)

In gen 9 you need to find a purple flower patch instead of the normal red, blue, white, yellow or orange flowers. If you go to the right patch, you'll find the magnificient purple variety of flabebe, a poison and grass type. After it evolves into Floette by level up, use leaf stone to get your Florges

Chandelure

Fairy/Fire

Pay attention to the lights in Glimwood Tangle in Galar. Some of them might resemble strange yellow wisps; they're actually Litwick. Approach carefully, and catch one. Then, level it up to evolve it into Lampent, and use a Shiny Stone to have it reach its final form.

Weavile (Poison/Fighting)

These Pokémon evolved the poison/fighting type after making their homes in the Castelia Sewers, where they form gangs of Sneasels that steal food from the surface.

Magnemite (Steel/Ground)

In the deepest depths of Chargestone Cave. If you hear eerie steel creaking you'll know they're nearby.
The eerie creaking is the noise it makes as it rolls across the ground. Or perhaps it's summoning an otherworldly devil, who knows? 😈

Illumise (Psychic)

Flying overhead at Floaroma Meadow. Extremely rare and hard to find, though; you'd be best off looking for its pre-evolutions in the same place.

Meowth (Normal/Ghost)

Geosenge Town, in the Team Flare hideout there, but only after it has gone kuhp00f.
A group of Meowth perished in the hideout, and they returned to life in this form. Having been mistreated by humans, they are quite hostile and spiteful. be careful if you want to catch one.

Porygon (Water)

Slowpoke Well in Johto. Wished to stop Slowpoke poachers. Designed a guardian for them, based on the original Porygon. Defends all Slowpokes from harm. Dumped a handful into Slowpoke Well.

Cut down on poaching significantly...initially. Attracted curious trainers, unfortunately. Whittled away at the Porygons' numbers. Revived the poachers' interest with the threat reduced.

Dunsparce (Flying)

Eterna Forest, in the patches of grass leading to the Old Chateau. Beware, though - they barely resemble Beautifly at all, so meeting them might be quite a shock.

Honedge (Normal/Steel)

Sea Mauville, near the quarters where Spiritomb is hidden. All the Water-types there have been corrupted by Spiritomb's evil energy, so you gotta be careful!

Pichu (Electric/Psychic)
