By your logic, people shouldn't be able to vote for Kyledove, Saurav or Alistair, as none of them are hackers...
Go for it. I'm not sure how he'll feel winning a hacking award (if he does win), though... (Probably similar to how I felt when I won MOTW :P)

I do get where you're coming from. however, Alistair is/ used to be a hacker.
I don't think there is a hacker who makes tiles and sprites apart from TB Pro and myself..so it would kinda be hard...

Was he? I'm sure all his maps are made in Paint, and the last game I remember him making was in RPG Maker (I think)...
Anyway, I don't see why you shouldn't let non-hackers win (obviously only the categories involving no hacking). But surely there are more hackers than that spriting...

1. This is not the place to discuss this, feel free to talk by VM's though
2. Remember Pokémon Harmony?
3. All the people who make tiles, usually have their tiles in a hack one way or another.
4. Overworld spriting is also considered graphical art. (sorry if I didn't specify this earlier)

To be perfectly honest, to win best programmer you should at least have released one tool, don't you think? No offense to M_X, but he's never actually made any programs (that I've seen), so I really don't think people should vote for him. >_> For all we know, it might be full of bugs and fail.[/rant]

Wow when i heard about this and saw that i got pretty much vote it made me proud^^ people still like my mapping even though i dont publish a lot of them anymore.
This is a really good idea Disturbed (i mean the award in general)
im gonna left those categories out that i have no idea about

Mapper: Ill have to go for my biggest competition and vote for Disturbed ;-)
Scripter: Master_Track, even though he became kinda inactive in the last time
Most Creative: ShadowArcanine, cause her storylines are amazing
Programmer: Lu-Ho of course (the biggest help a mapper can get)
Graphical Artist: kyledove, cause i love all of his tiles
Favorite: This one is hard to decide... but ill vote for colcolstyles ;-)

btw are you going to make beautiful award images?^^
