Its like a 3 or 4 dollar difference, how much "extra cash" did you need? And Avatar 2? Pahlease! It'll be like Bambi 2. Ridiculousness! Can I get a Whoop Whoop?

these are the rules

Welcome to the Nonagon Tournament! This is a tournament in which you have to get a group of 9 pokemon together and use your team-building skills to make 3 different teams with which to play. This will be just a normal OU tournament, but you will have to think about which pokemon you will use in each match and whom your opponent will use. This could be a very simple tournament to some, but very complex to others.


Basic Rules
  • Evasion Clause
  • Freeze Clause
  • OHKO Clause
  • Self-KO Clause
  • Sleep Clause
  • Soul Dew Clause
  • Species Clause
  • Timed Battle (optional)

Of course, there are the special rules that apply. When preparing for your match, you must pick 9 Pokemon that you want to use on your teams. After you have decided whom to use, you must only use those 9 in a best of 3 with your opponent. The catch is that you cannot use the same team more than once, and you have to use each Pokemon exactly twice! This should ensure that you have many new things to think about when choosing your team of 9.

Note: you do NOT have to use the same sets on your pokemon!

I have to battle an '06er, so I'm pretty much doomed, but I don't want to be 6-0'd thrice.

I brought enough for the 2d movie and for some popcorn. I didn't know if my theater even had the 3d one because the theater closest to me is pretty awful. So stfu.
 
Tell me why some people on Smogon get pissed when you use any legendary Pokemon like they're all broken?
I've seen people think they were at a disadvtage because someone used Entei on OU team.

And Smogon's tested Latias to death already. I'm bored of it.

The ladder is horrible at the moment, no skill what so ever. <--Is your reason.

Same with Latias, im struggling to see why its only broken now, infact period lol. :/ Also i have been testing its so called "uber" set aka Choice Specs and TRIED to make it more broken (with Spikes support because those apparently own its counters). Lets just say when you cant finish off a 60% health min/min t-tar with Choice Specs SURF you know you freaking suck. Team builders are just horrible these days and the metagame is becoming the "what ever we cant deal with gets banned because my team sucks" metagame. No one even wants to predict or find ways around stuff anymore, another reason why i miss D/P. People actually did find ways around stuff and predicted, since now HEAVEN FORBID IF YOU HAVE TO OUTPREDTIC SOMETHING OMG UBAR 2 MUCH WORK. The ability to do that is what makes you a great battler, i.e people like me, now im sorry to come off as arrogant but why should we even care about poor/whining battlers ? Go play another metagame, simple, there isnt gonna EVER be a balanced metagame so you might aswell shut up and suck it up. Also dont take this out of context by saying dumb stuff like "but D_A you can find ways around Rayquaza", yeah sure but Raq is obv broken, just look at it for gods sake. Now finding ways around Latias seems a damn sigh easier than finding way around say Rayquaza and even Garchomp. Sure i have done my fair share of whining, about Manaphy most specifically but that was banned quickly (in the grand scheme of things) and the majority vote backed me up, even when people were going "rofl D_A Specz jowlt beetz eet". Latias has been ou for a year, people have been using Specs Latias for a year, why now is it suddenly broken ? :|

<%JabbaTheGriffin> and people are trying to ban froslass the best offensive spiker, raikou the best offensive sweeper, moltres the 2nd best offensive sweeper and dugtrio a pokemon that can trap like 2-3 stall pokemon

Honestly, my feelings on Latias is that if something was going to happen, it should have happened a long time ago. Seriously, Smogon has voted Latias OU for the past year, even if it wasn't by close majority. Why is it even still being tested? I mean, its gone past both rules for voting stages whether it stays OU or goes to Ubers. There's no need to prolong the subject of Latias being OU.

In regards of Latias' sets, I don't see why people are finding it more difficult to beat than it has been before. I mean, Scizor can take care of it. So can pretty much any scarfed Pokemon in OU with a powerful physical attack. "But it requires prediction" So? Beating Salamence requires prediction. On that note, beating any half-decent team in a battle should require prediction. Where's the fun in the battle otherwise? Battling on the ladder would be like "Ok let's use generic move x to beat generic pokemon y and I honestly just want it out I dont care about switches anymore." If that's the current mood of Smogon, I might as well just stop playing with my E-vire team on the ladder and go back to playing Ruby Destiny or Shiny Gold or something like that.
 
The past year it has been tested with people on the suspect ladder, this test is with people who have been using the standard ladder.

I'm really just happy that they are finally going to be done with it and we can move on.
 
So, since we aren't allowed to make 1k threads in the celebrations forum, I made my 1k post instead. I know postcount doesnt matter, but most of my posts are spammy on smogon where I can post 1k threads so I'm going to do one here first.

So I survived 1k posts of PC! \o/ I feel like I've been here longer than I have until you guys bring up anything that happened before dec 19, 2009, so in order to say thanks for not running me out (yet) here is a 1k post, and since this is the forum I care about the most/post the most in (maybe) I'm going to do it here, these are in no specific order:

Nate - We are too alike, its creepy. O_o;; You need to get wifi back though, no reason, it would just be cool i guess.

D_A - Thanks for not completely giving up hope on me lol.

Aero - Yuri is mine! My fellow NU buddy, get better so when i beat you its fun, j/k gurl <3 ya. Also you were pretty nice to me when I first joined, I thought you were gay for like 3 months though, you may wanna fix that. <(^-^)/

Anti - You were the best tutor I had here on PC, even if it was just for like, 2 days lol! Its the thought that counts, I still feel like you're angry at me when I raged on shoddy though. Also, we are like the only ones who want latias banned >_>

Syndrome - You were a jerk when I first joined, but your ok now.

Beachy - Momma Beachy, I look forward to debating b/w when it comes out. Your use of D_A's CuteKou will always be the bane of me, but on the bright side, it may soon be a BL pokemon. (not really a bright side, but eh)

Jake - I totally won that match for Motisma and you know it. You don't really come on that much so I don't know you that well, but your cool. French is a kinda lame language though, viva la espana! (too lazy to do the "~" over then "n")

Thoughts - Canadian =| lol. you're a p cool guy, but you get angry too easily when people say stuff, just chillax, it'll be better i promise.

AurFire (a.k.a. Aura) - Well, I actually barely talk to you at all <(o_o::];; but from the conversations i have had i like you. the nice S&M mod (i'm sure that will get edited by anti or D_A)

Yankee - I like just met you a bit ago, but I guess you're cool. lol. :x

Opposite Day - You make Norwegia sound so horrible, which is a shame because I want to visit it some day. You're cool though, we always have intense battles when we use serious teams.

Ooka - Sub Pert lead. lol! I never really got to know you that well but you really shouldn't have slammed that cat into the ground.

OrlyNow? - You dissapeared. Again. =/

Wolf(lare) - You're really cool. I need you to teach me CSS one day, so I can make purdy posts. lol. We will master the uber ladder. (mostly you but I'll try.)

Vance - :( I miss you.

Skippy - I don't really have much to say lol, you are rarely on the server and don't say much, but your fun to talk to.

Fire Wolf - hi. you're banned so we don't talk much on the server.

Sorry if I left anyone out, just complain that I did and I'll put you in (maybe). Sorry its a ****** 1k post lol, I'll do better at 2k, which will take longer because I'm going to be less spammy (maybe).

I have noob. I have with everyone else too lool. :x

Also MY CuteKou, that set is mine (as i helped ALOT with that team). Anything with "cute<pokemon>" as the name is my Poke set. With the exception of Cuteloom, which is not mine. :X lol

Thanks for the compliment Gamer. Yea really I can't get on the server much unless its the weekend thanks to a bunch of schoolwork lol. Summer's coming soon though, so I'll be there more lol.

Yes I also find it to be a bit creepy. I could swear that you are my long lost twin. And I do have wifi rofl. I just chose not to use it as its awful(I mean my connection and not that wifi battling is awful). I do use it every so often though. But yeah your p cool gamer. ;D
