Haha, true :P But still, I'll try to advertise the thread over the Supporter one, just to see more people join in. But I can't believe the hype in that thread, we are nearing breaking record from S2, and we are still in the first day and night phase haha
 
Just realised I lied about not having played a Mafia game before O_O (oops)

I played the Minecraft Mafia game before, which was fun :D I ended up being moved for a normal citizen to a Mafia Member, and we won.

As for what I'm looking for in a Mafia game... I don't really know? I haven't played enough to know what I would want in one, but I guess my generic answer will that everyone has fun, and understands the rules properly XD

In the mafia game Fox and I have created we have a really unique little twist/gimmick that we're going to throw at you.

I don't know when that will actually be posted though since Eros beat us too it haha
 
After I've played a few of these, I might even attempt to make my own. I wanna do other competitions and stuff though, so it may have to wait. We'll see.

And Gimme, that's cause you forgot to call dibs!

GAMES YOU'VE PLAYED: i've only naku's and hosted one prior to that but that's the only mafia activity i've had on this forum. i've played about three real time games on the forum i came from and i've played countless fast paced games.
 
from my experience i can tell you that with some organization mafia here can really thrive. it's best when there are only like 2 games going because after that it's hard to recruit people for games and it often detracts attention from ongoing games. it also ups the demand for people who are watching the games. the forum i was on prior to this one enabled a rule that allowed too many games to go on at once and the result was none of the games filling and the mafia section ultimately dying. :(

That'd be pretty awesome, but then again too many going at once might not be a good thing either when it comes to attracting activity.

What sort of extra organisation do you suggest? It's exciting to see how mafia has picked up here, would be cool to see how far it could go 8)

What are you looking for in a Mafia game?

Not sure if this answers the question, but I look for an interesting concept first of all (something a bit different is good, to break the monotony and keep things interesting), and I think if I see people I know or have played with before and have enjoyed playing with before, I'd be more willing to join since I think a lot of the enjoyment of mafia comes with the people you're playing with. idk if that makes sense/is relevant but whatever.

IKR, also I may be 13, but I'm highly experienced with website and forum making, having run a forum before. But we would need a fair few members and other topics. If anyone want's a forum where you can play mafia and other topics, maybe if we get enough interest, I'll make one.

i think some guidelines should go into place such as those in place for the member encyclopedia. it's early now but i think that after the first 6 non-supporter mafia games have been completed it should be a requirement to have played 2/3 pc mafia games and have had a role affiliated with the mafia and the town before hosting a game. it would help generate activity and allow future hosts to acquire experience. also, it would be nice if there were some consequences for things like inactivity and cheating. nothing too harsh, just something like a one game ban.

i have a load of ideas but most of them require mafia to be separate from forum games to ease confusion.
