I bet I could do it easily :) :)

I did try to make a command-line Mafia Role List generator in C++, but I only got as far as coding the input requests and I don't really know how to code the actual list generation because I'm a nub. Perhaps finishing it would give me the tools I need to GM! Or not, since I could GM the best damn Mafia game in years even without it :P

Can this be added into the rules of mafia, bolded and stapled to everyone's head when starting a new game? After reading back through some of the recent games, people's previous roles get brought up in arguments against them and just reading it was making me cringe..

It's ok to go OOC for a moment to suggest ideas from previous games (such as El requesting no abstaining votes in SMS2 iirc) but using it as an argument against them for lynching/executing/rocket-to-the-sun-ing doesn't make sense. Each game is supposed to be a completely unique event with "new" characters each time. If I flip a coin 100 times and it was heads every time, the next flip is still 50/50 regardless of the previous flips; someone's previous role is irrelevant to their current role.

To be honest, there's no need. People are just using them as just funny callbacks, and most of the time, they aren't really serious when it comes to lynching. No one really uses the old "he was mafia before, so he must be one" excuse unless you're a pleb, but I'm sure no one is a pleb haha x3
 
Some people act a little differently, nervous,more talkish or rather silent for example, when they are mafia members, but things like these are really hard, if not impossible, to determine on a forum, as everybody has their time to think what to write exactly and plain text shows emotions in a lesser amount.
 
And ofcourse, it's also tradition to make use of some of these references like...

a) killing MI in the first night #MorallyInDeath
b) Klippy being a lying sociopath #Killppy
c) the gimmepie and Foxrally love-hate relationship #gimmefox
d) me as a gr8 double agent #spoodergurl

and after THG, Blarzimafia will start, and after Faes and Lycs, Klippy's GoT mafia will start. and after one of those two end, I'll be starting the FCG Mafia that I was talking about, because I really want to push that one.
