I honestly don't care for the new tier symbols, I prefer the way they were myself.
smaller signatures would be really nice imo.If we're making things smaller just to make them smaller (like the index, prefix fonts on the index, and the symbols under usernames), perhaps it's time to look at signatures as well.
Well imo they should have just added the star in front of the tier label instead of just being the star.
The only issue I see is that moderator/staff might not be as apparent as they might need
because I don't like change.

If I'm being honest I preferred the old style as well.
Change is inevitable, and it is probably better off that you give yourself time to adjust. I promise that you don't dislike minor aesthetic changes like this as much as you think you do; it is the sudden adjustment that is so jarring, not the actual difference.
I, for one, welcome our new symbol-oriented overlords.
edit: "it looks far from professional" - none of these people get paid for what they do, so nothing is really professional. It's all for the sake of keeping things fresh. Evolve with us!
