Tool: TL's Quick Enhancer (~Making rom hacking faster and easier)

You know, it would be really cool if you make a force mew/deoxys obey and the transparent text box, great tool btw.

Well i am also planning for the mew/deoxys obey...
But the transparent text box thing is little manual work... you will have to use callasm command everytime you need it...
Through this tool the most i could do is insert the asm routines and give you the location, then the rest will upto you :)

I tried to search for those implementations in the forum for Emerald but couldn'5 find one without bugs. I would appreciate to see this tool with this features. ;)

Well I can only implement those features if there sxists a solution to it... well the more i can do is talk to some hack creators who have implemented it correctly...

Some Natures are the states of both colors (example Relaxed Def and Speed are Red , Timid Atk and Speed are Blue)
I tested on rom patched and rom clean

because i checked it once and cant find the bug happening....

Well I have only made the design for the credits list,
I had not written the names of the person who found the enhancement when I copied the codes to my computer, so I will have to look them all again in this forum,
so if anyone know who is the creator or modifier of the enhancements(Hacks) listed in the credits list above then you can tell me below.

If anyone has any request to make to be included in this tool then you can freely make it,
If its possible to happen then I will try my best to do it :)

And to tell you the problem of using more free space in the earlier released version is now fixed, and also I have successfully added the PSS split patch with Icons :)

It would be cool if you could make this compatible with other languages too, maybe by using a .ini file to specify all the offsets. Probably better than add an "if" for every version and language.

If you are reffering to other roms except BPRE and BPEE then i see it harder because as far as i know in other language roms the locations of pointers are different so its hard for me.

Make deoxys stats, sprite and icon of that of normal forme instead of the game specific one, basically making it so that it's always normal forme, this is good because you can easily change the sprite, stats and icons of the normal deoxys to that of any other form using PGE.

Yeah I know it's a lot of work, but let me explain.

If you implement a .ini system the tool would: recognise the rom and then look for the correct offsets in the .ini file based on the gamecode. In this way if I want I could add the correct offsets for Italian emerald under the section [BPEI] (for example).

I mean you don't have to do extra work, if somebody want to add their offsets they could just add them in the .ini and the tool could work with their language :)

I hope I explained myself eheh (yes I'm italian).

but cant say for every one, because if its buggy, I aint add it in the tool until its fixed :)

I preety much know about the .ini file,
but let me tell you... for eg, for the running indoor shoes hack,
researchers have found the offset for the BPRE and BPEE rom but they havent found the offset for BPEI rom...
so what I actually meant is If I get the offset for that rom also then I can preety much make this tool versatile with other versions of rom else,
it gonna stick with BPRE and BPEE only {:3}

but not so sure about the VBA's Turbo Enhacement :)

Well the XY EXP share has been upgraded with new mechanics (and I dont think if that egg level problem exists... still I am not confirmed about it, but you can see the upgraded post here, and I will probably ask Blu rose about it or check it myself :P )

it would not surprise me at all to see that the routine distributes exp. to eggs--all it does is check for the exp. share in the bag and then distribute accordingly. i wanted to improve it so that it ran off of a byte in the RAM and set it and unset it occasionally but that never happened :P
might improve later today or something when i get home from school (but i have like a few tests so no promises)

I found 2 bugs however with the Nature colored stats. Not sure if there's any other natures with this problem though.

Quiet nature shows both stats in red.

Timid nature shows both stats in red.

Im using MrDollSteaks rombase and JPAN's hacked engine if that provides anyhing useful.
