Once again generation III contained a fresh list of 50 TMs, different from the generation before. A couple TMs retained their TM status, while some moves that were TMs in generation I, but not II were TMs once again. So what was your favourite TM of this generation? Which moves do you wish kept their TM status from generation II? Which other moves would you have liked to see get TM status?

    [PokeCommunity.com] TMs

    So why not~?

I had several favorite TM's: Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Attract, Toxic, Calm Mind, Psychic. I would like to see Heat Wave having TM status.

I love the gen III TMs. They're so fun and different and can give you some really craaaazy movesets. Plus RSE are the easiest games to get my favorite TMs in, those being Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam. Psychic is also easy to get haha. I agree with Sajmon about Heat Wave. I think it should have been a TM instead of Overheat. :)

I completely forgot that Ice Beam, Flamethrower and Thunderbolt weren't even included as TMs in the second gen (and in Flamethrower's case, it had never been one at all). They were easily the three that I used the most during this gen, mostly thanks to the ease of getting them like Sydian said, plus their general effectiveness. I did miss the elemental punches a bit, but I think those 3 moves were an upgrade, anyways.

The only two moves I can say I was disappointed to see removed as TMs were DragonBreath and Swift, but at least the latter was available through the Move Tutor in Emerald.

I hated to see Dragonbreath go too, but at least we got the amazing Dragon Claw! :)

Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast and Hyper-Beam Taught them all to my Mew and he pwnd everthing. The Sp. Atk was so high that he only needed attack moves and he never took a hit in the E4

My favorite TM's are Ice Beam and Thunderbolt, so it was nice to have them in this Gen again.
I kinda wished for the Elemental Punches to make a comeback as TM's, always liked them a lot

Like most people, I liked the elemental beams. They're just so useful on heaps of Pokémon. I would have liked to see the elemental punches have their TM status still, but at least they made them into tutor moves in Emerald. Meteor Mash would have been an awesome TM in my opinion, much better than Iron Tail.

Ice Beam, Thunderbolt & Flamethrower, I've always liked those three moves since they're by far the best moves in their respected typing (IMO).

I loved most of the TMs in the game, but my personal faves were Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Flamethrower due to the wide distribution those moves get and the fact they have always been handy to have.
