I mean personally I am not really super extremely hyped about it (for… reasons) but I'm still interested because according to promos it looks like it's gonna be somewhat fun, so I'm just gonna keep an open mind here.

Most of my excitement is directed to the personal plot I came up with for my playthrough of the DLC. I'm not documenting it outside of summaries but the plot I came up with especially after fleshing it out sounds really cool because of all the insane headcanons I came up with for the new characters and was enough to make me be like the 'I need it' Spongebib meme.

Definitely. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet just feels extremely incomplete, probably because it is. The DLC is simply Game Freak releasing the rest of the game that should have been implemented in the beginning.

Describes it as mixed interest. Doubts anything too exciting from the plotline or exploration. Looks for the smaller things. Examples from the Isle of Armor: mints, the Cram-o-matic, and Lucky Eggs on wild Pokemon. Will keep an eye out for minigames too. (What kind of festival would it be without lots of minigames?) Wonders how effective the EV items will be. Competes with Power items buyable from the start.

Admits to one unfortunate hope: smoother performance and/or better draw distance in the DLC area. Should be a smaller area than the mainland. Presumably means fewer resources spent on having the map loaded in.

Reserves hopes for an interesting game mode for the second half of the DLC.

While I am not 'hyped' for it. I am very interested in it. Especially if it is anything like the SwSh DLC. For me, the DLC made the games far more fun to play than what we had. And I've barely played SV at all. Plus it gives me something to do after a long line of boredom from games I've been playing.

As for one thing I hope for now that I am actually noticing it, better performance. I just recently got an OLED Switch. And played SV on it for the first time. And now the lag and stutter everyone has been talking about that I didn't experience till I switched to OLED has become very noticeable. For some reason, it seems like the Switch from 2018, ran SV far smoother than OLED from 2022.

I am currently playing the DLC right now and I am really enjoying it. I am glad to see Pokémon return that I haven't seen in a while! I can't wait until I evolve my Yanma into a Yanmega!

Yeah. I am really enjoying it. It looks amazing even though I know it can be a lot better. But even from the base game it is a step up. It seems more optimized in the way of background FPS, but it still lags and stutters some. Although the more I played the less it seemed to do it.

I love the music and going by everything we know,
    Spoiler:
And while I am not a fan of Kanto Pandering of the past, it is really nice to see old pokemon we haven't seen yet in the overworld. And it is also far larger than I thought it be. As for my team, I am working on a new team, but only two members thus far.

Oh yeah. And I also very much love how the town actually looks like a town that I could easily see in the modern day setting, or at least a neighborhood.

I've finished the main story, but seems like there is two small stories. Haven't done those yet. But absolutely loved the story. I love how it is based on the old poem from Japan like every speculated.

I also freaking love Carmine. I thought I'd hate her so much, but man she is so awesome of a character. At least to me. Kiki is ok, but his character is a little annoying to be honest. But hopefully he will get better in the next DLC. I am really glad we are getting to see them again.

I still have a good amount to explore, so I may have missed some stuff. But I've only been to about 3/4 of the map during the main story. Some sections I ventured to before, so may only be about half.
