    did you have a scene/goth/emo/etc phase? if so, how long did it take you to leave it?

    Hah. God I was very emo back in the days of past. Sadly I cannot produce evidence of this; it has washed away in the mists of times and internet long long ago. Sure; perhaps some people can attest to that phase if they knew me way back then. But probably not; those people are long gone from our fair community. Those special people probably don't even read PC threads very often anymore. x3

    However I was not able to ever fully enjoy it or do things like paint my nails or wear eyeliner publicly. So no real evidence.

    Ahhhh. But the Black Parade was indeed one of my favorite songs as I grew up and began to tackle adulthood. I guess don't know when I grew out of that phase. I don't know. I don't feel goth or emo myself now. Perhaps after my recovery and stint in college (ended 2013) I was alright with things.

    I will say one thing though. I haven't grown out my love for romance. I doubt I will. :3
     
    I'm still emo. I just listen to Basement and wear snapbacks rather than MCR and long fringes.
     
    I had one of those studded belts from hot topic and a skull hoodie so yes, I suppose you could call me Queen of the Goths.
     
    oh yeah man. like last year from February to like june. hot topic, mcr, the whole deal.
     
    I was emo with no reason to be. I just hated everyone and everything except for my friends. I had the long swooped hair over my face type of thing. But i never cared about clothing enough to have my emoness be reflected in what I wear. My personality was just closed off and annoyed. Glad I'm not like that anymore lmfao
     
    Ah, the glory days. I was as emo as emo could be. Avenged Sevenfold, bangs so long you literally couldn't see my eyes, all black everything..and damn all the hair bows

    Nope I was basically a dorky kid in high school and a wannabecool highschooler at uni!
     
    I got into My Chemical Romance for the first time sometime last year, for some reason. that one record with Helena on it is still fucking amazing. other than that no.

    yeah i did. had the long black hair, black clothes, and everything else to match. I'll post a pic later whenever i get on mmy comp.
     
    I only pretended to leave it. I still have my black trench coat and steel-toed boots and I wear them at home when no one is looking.

    Photo isn't exactly goth but it's all I got at the moment. From a few years ago. The names and faces have been changed to protect the innocent.

    I didn't have the full-on emo phase, but I was a super nihilistic and misanthropic tool. However, some emo bands and other "in" artists were actually my guilty pleasure back in Middle School and High School (and to this day, they still are.)
