Could it be that Wicked was the escort but happened to target the binge eater?
But then again, why would the escort try to roleblock night 0? There is a good chance they might cripple their teammates, especially the investigator.

The binge eater was probably the one who killed wicked.
But I don't think he was town.

The first interaction sounds like the binge eater and the crazy guy(who was most likely wicked).
And the crazy man doesn't sound like a dove.

Agreed on the first interaction thing. Binge eater probably targeted the clown to feast on, but she

seemed to be outmatched. Insanity scares even the mightiest as it seems.

I don't think that Wicked was the clown though.

The binge eater sounded pretty ballsy vs Wicked, but it would be out of character,had he been the clown, based on their first interaction.

The death post mentioned a sniper rifle so it's more likely that the Binge Eater got a gun and shot Wicked3DS.

Lynching Klippy seems like the way to go, but he could be the Clown...

If he is the Gourmet, lynching him is in the town's best interest, isn't it? It's much better than random lynching, if there wasn't a danger of him being the clown.

Er, no, the Binge Eater and the mafia both targeted JohnnyMustang. The last sentence of the phase post confirms it:

When daybreak arrived and the corpse was found, one person in the crowd stared in horror at his ruined main dish.

Besides, if the Escort targets the Binge Eater, they die during the night, not afterwards.

As for Wicked3DS, it sure looks like she was the Clown, with her Yellow Highlight - I think the highlight is the indication of the dead's alignment. Black = Doves/town, Red = Aogiri/mafia, Purple = Binge Eater, Blue = Gourmet, Yellow = Clown, and ??? role = Gray? These colors are from the OP role list, btw.

I took the last line as the gourmet lamenting over the person he wanted to get lynched, getting night killed.
But it could have also been the binge eater.

I also didn't notice the highlights, lol.
Both death highlights look white to me.

If wicked was the clown, then there's no need for us to fear lynching klippy.
But I don't think he's stupid enough to act this way.
Perhaps he's trying to appear to be the clown so we don't lynch him.
Or he's actually the clown.

Oh I see, that's a misread if so. Coupled with Klippy claiming he got Johnny killed I think you may be right. If so then I don't know why the Binge Eater was roleblocked.

The highlight theory seems legit enough, so I'll follow you on that.
The thing is why did Wicked die. Was it really the Binge Eater?


I've made up a story of last night simply because I'm too annoyed with myself not being able to figure things out.
So, Binge Eater targets Clown, but they can't kill them cuz... uh... *reasons* then they are told to target someone else. That someone is Johnny, but the ghouls have already taken care of him. Enraged and hungry, Binge Eater returns to their first target and finish them off anyways.

Bah it sounds bad, but I can't help it. I love making scenarios :P

Edit : Missed a couple of posts while typing this. The gourmet is another story I guess, which makes mine even worse... Another thing I noticed is that at the last lines of the phase post it says about someone looking in horror cuz HIS main dish was ruined. While the Binge Eater is referred to as a female. Hope this is not a typo lol

The person I was supposed to find is dead (Wicked, the Clown, I believe) but I thought I was town. :/ I didn't honestly read the OP. Been too busy preparing World...

It could be that the Binge Eater can't eat third party roles, but I see no reason why ghouls in general would be exempt to his hunger, that would give a massive advantage to the mafia.

I think the highlightglow is the indication of the dead's alignment. BlackWhite = Doves/town, Red = Aogiri/mafia, Purple = Binge Eater, Blue = Gourmet, Yellow = Clown, and ??? role = Gray? These colors are from the OP role list, btw.

Actually looking at the phase post again it seems the glow on Johnny is White, not Black, which I would take to mean a Doves alignment.

-The Binge Eater is a female character

SO the narrative may just be making a point of the gender of the actual characters, and not the players behind them.

Also, the Ghouls in the anime do occasionally eat other ghouls and partake in cannibalism. This applies to The Gourmet, and possibly, the Binge Eater (I don't recall any specific moment where she does).

I also like jd's highlight colour theory. We could always let Klippy live today, and if the mafia doesn't kill him we'll lynch him. If Klippy is the clown - then the mafia shoudl lynch him tonight and not take any risks. Since if they don't kill him and we lynch him and he is the clown - we all lose, mafia and town alike. :)

Unless any leads are given, we'll have to go about this in regular D1 fashion and random lynch.

So, if the narrative follows the anime, there is a possibility of the gourmet not being after the one eyed king (since it could bring imbalance between doves and ghouls) but the kaneki of this game (not the person lol), and kaneki could be the secret role. Or is it just me over thinking this?

The Gourmet: Obsessed on hunting down the one-eyed ghoul with a tantalizingly unique scent, the Gourmet thinks they have found who they were looking for. They will stop at nothing to have the crowd lynch the "one-eyed ghoul"; so that he can enjoy a delectable main dish that's simply très bien!

See the bold emphasis. The Gourmet isn't after the One-Eyed King specifically. The have a target to lynch, it can be any player in the game. If that player is lynched, they win. His target looks like it was JohnnyMustang from the phase post ("main dish"). If that was the case, then I'm not sure what Klippy does now, assuming he really is the Gourmet.

since the binge eater riza is still around, kaneki is most likely not a ghoul in this game.
