Mate... I've been confirmed by Doof2 and I'm un-CC'd. There's a shitload more going for my innocence than most others in the game. If you guys really want to waste an investigation on me tonight then so be it, but at least leave me alive today.

Well, I have a few people I'm suspicious of but I just haven't told anyone. Not that you'd listen to me anyway seeing as you are suspecting me for no reason. Like what happens in every game (eyeroll) Although I guess it's fair considering how many times you did that when I was mafia, but still.

Would you mind telling me why exactly you find me suspicious? Or is it one of those gut feelings that I hate so much because it's not actually real evidence and I always end up looking suspicious even though I'm innocent?

If you have suspicions you should share them, your thoughts are no good to us tucked away in your head where we can't make anything of them.

I've been straight with you, I don't have any solid evidence. Just a gut feeling, which could quite easily be wrong. We shouldn't outright dismiss reads and gut feelings though since they can often be correct too, I have a pretty good track record with them and from what I've seen Nimsy's intuition is even better.

I just don't understand how gut feeling work at all. If you have a reason behind the feeling, like a tell that someone has, or a slip-up in their speech then I'll trust it. But, just "having a feeling" about them has killed be multiple times as town and it's getting to the point where I'm getting agitated when gut feelings mentioned :/

Well the choice word there is usually, but you do have a good point haha. Anyway, I'm not going to argue over my innocence any further because there's no point in two confirmed innocents arguing over their innocence.

I will suggest you study up on Occam's Razor. You've thrown around a lot of needlessly complex ways in which I might be scum, but the simplest explanation is that both of us are innocent and the mafia are fucking with us.

My running theory is that some roles have more to them than we've been lead to believe and that Daydream, the CEO, was able to forfeit the night kill to double up on a mafia ability. This might also explain why we don't have a similar issue today with me having pied Daydream. It's not great theory, but something along those lines makes the most sense to me. Perhaps we still need to fear double abilities and the mafia have just elected to use their kill instead the past night?

Wishful thinking would be that this was actually one of our own roles backfiring on us and that someone else knows a mafia member.

Let's recap

Bard hasnt claimed anything, refuses to claim, even. While GP is uncc'd pie thrower that has said Daydream was a mafia he killed with his pies. This is supported by my report showing Daydream as the CEO role. Bard is suggesting that on Night 0, the mafia lawbot framed Daydream to be shown as a cog, which would confuse the Artist's claims when Daydream dies. This allows the mafia to sneak information past the artist completely.

Lawbot - The smartest of the cogs. He has memorised every Toontown law and criminal offense. With this knowledge, he can infiltrate the toon database every night to frame a toon and them look like a criminal and a cog.

There are several things that make this role very hard to understand. Does the Lawbot choose which role the person shows up as? Does he learn their role when he dies? Perhaps he is a combination of tailor/janitor? We don't know. BUT, if we operate under this theory then there are several things that incriminate GP.

For one, if the Lawbot is a janitor role, then the mafia has free reign to claim whichever role they framed. This means that Daydream was potentially the pie thrower. But there's an issue. When the pie thrower dies, the pies are distributed. Don't you think we'd know a bit more about that? Don't you think someone would've refuted GP by claiming that they have a pie of which is out of place? There are two situations that we are operating under, and even then, one has a bit of a hole in it.

1. Daydream was the piethrower, a mafia received the pie, (the hole here is that pies kill mafia, so I consider this situation unlikely). So therefore the mafia don't cc any pie claims because GP is mafia. Another hole is that we don't know for sure if the mafia knows who the role they tailor is, so GP would be making a seriously risky move by claiming piethrower because they wouldn't know for sure if it was Daydream, and it'd be considered sheer unadulterated luck.
2. Gimmepie is the piethrower, this explains the lack of cc'ing and why there aren't extra pies floating around. This situation most likely incriminates Bard as mafia. Hole in this is that it never said that pies roleblock the cogs when they die, so even if he hits CEO the CEO should get a kill, no? Unless the CEO hit a pie with his kill action?

There's a lot to think about and it's making my brain hurt, but I think that killing bard and investigating pie tonight is the best course of action.

I lost my train of thought like halfway into this post so if I stop mid-point then please point it out ><

The problem is, I don't see any of these theories as adding up, and the deciding issue is how the Salesbot could've gotten two actions in one night in a game without hidden roles.

Well, we might not have true hidden roles but I would not put it past Fox to not disclose the fully extent of a role's abilities - hell even some of the descriptions in the OP are extremely vein. I know Fox quite well, I've GM'd alongside him - it's honestly not unlikely that he'd pull something like that, if anything it's probable.

Mickey sighed. There had been so much arguing and discussion today over what to do with the artist, barely half of the people had voted. And to make things worse, the trolley was acting up really weird... As everyone had come in and out, it seemed like they just... weren't themselves at all. Had the cogs tinkered with it?

At the end of it all, people had began calming down when suddenly Bardothren pulled out a giant X button, and began crying hysterically. Before anyone could say "stop!" he pressed the button and disappeared.

As the sun rose, Mickey and the rest of Toontown held a moment of silence for jdthebud. The old toon was strong, but not strong enough, apparently. With two attacks in a few days in addition to the stress of it all, his frail body just couldn't handle it.

Universe couldn't handle the stress of it all. She locked herself into her house and was never seen again. Lawlietta came and moved to her house instead. Let's just hope it's not haunted...​
