Hmm. I had no clue you couldn't use it until post game. I've just heard of people taking their newly hatched mons in there, they get raised to level 50, then you look at their stats and calculate IVs that way. But tbh, I don't see why people even do that. Post game, you've got the IV guy and HP guy in Anistar so that would take care of any checking that needs to get done.

Well it's a good way to look for specific values, especially if you're going for a certain Hidden Power. Plus you never know when a non perfect stat is gonna be 30, which would be perfectly acceptable.

Don't want to sound like an arse, but I want to correct you in that Pal Park allows for normal items to be held and transferred o3 o

In any case it makes me really sad we can't catch Eevees in Apricorn Balls, otherwise I'd have one of each, female of course.

With the different pokéballs that already exist, it should be perfectly possible!
 
Instead of relying on Apricorn craftsman (or anyone else, really), I think it would've been nice if we were allowed make our own Poké Ball with some machinery of sorts. :P
 
EV until someone can absolutely confirm that there is a bug in the code by looking at it or Nintendo saying something it's virtually impossible to prove that you weren't just unlucky.

Right now you're just excited and jumping to conclusions. I found 2 shinies within a month without using Shiny Charm or Masuda Method. So it's kinda hard to prove anything. There have even been people in older gens to find 2 shinies within a couple days. It's all luck.

It's just something I do out of...superstition I guess. I mentioned it in chat half-jokingly - but its still pretty neat/funny that people are getting a bunch of shinies now. xD

Well, I was doing that and then I got distracted breeding eggs. As soon as I get my powersaves, I'll be able to go back to playing regularly on Y.
 
Thanks to Keiran's suggestion I've already gotten a Shiny! I haven't hatched it yet though... it's a Goomy but it has Sap Sipper and 0 in Defense XD

idk, I'm still skeptical about the idea that there's a bug that prevents Masuda Method when you load a save. I just don't understand how such an oversight could occur.

Uh... I am distracted by breeding so that's why I haven't beaten Y yet. I don't understand your question.
