I've always preferred handhelds so I never looked into getting a Gamecube or the original Wii all that much.
Which resulted in me missing out on the WiiU later on, which does look to be a handheld.

The pad is soooo heavy and clunkily designed imo. Great idea, poor execution. Was a good console though.

I think the main issue with the WiiU was bad marketing. People believed it was "just" a Wii upgrade.

I always said they should have called it something else. They wanted to associate it with the Wii because of it's success, bit like you say, it had the opposite effect.

Animal Crossing Switch best console ever made.

I miss the older Animal Crossing games where the villagers were often a bit mean. Gave you a good reason to let them move...

But if I had to choose just one... maybe New Leaf. Loved that game.

Phones, games, and me don't go in the same sentence tbh. Other than maybe Go. I tried playing emulator games on my phone a few years ago and that was a better experience than actual mobile games imo.

I prefer playing emulated stuff on my PC. Because I don't like the touch controls os smartphones. There's no button resistance, for lack of a better word.

Apparently Youtube is full of ads with malicious content. There are also streamers on some streaming platforms who have built their entire "thing" around gambling.

They just do what any big business does: exploit loopholes until they're fixed. They actually get more money out of that even if they end up having to pay a fee than if they just didn't try it at all.
