At 11am GMT+0... 43,000 people gathered on twitch.tv to watch a Pokemon movie.

It's still continuing and still hilarious! 67k viewers currently.

The current movie is one of the Victini movies, and the chat is still hilarious. I wonder if this will be a regular channel, now? The description kind of eludes that it's going to be going on for at least a little while.

Kryxis, the video is currently unavailable, just thought I'd point that out. Anyway, Twitch watching Pokemon movies seems like fun. Maybe I'll poke around later if they're still doing movies later on since Twith is always doing something hilarious when it comes to Pokemon. Over 67,000 people though... wow.

We've had it playing since it started last night. Only a few more hours now!

I really have enjoyed this. I had it playing full screen for a while and just recently started reading the chat...pretty hilarious!

Got caught up in this last night during the middle of the second movie, and watched a little today until the end. This idea was brilliant, and I am so happy they kept the chat on.

What they need to do now is announce marathons every Sunday from here on out. For instance, next week, starting at noon or so, they can stream the entire first season of the anime. The week after that, the first movie.

If Bob Ross can do it, so can Pokemon.

God watching that stream made me realize just how old I am. I still get the feels from watching that one scene in The First Movie and The Movie 2000. The chat really added to the viewing too and make it so much better. VAC, Kreygasm, RUINED and other Bob Ross mentions, PRAISE HELIX, BIFF and other phrases and stuff made me laugh so hard.

Interesting that Heroes, Destiny Deoxys, Wish Maker, Temple of the Sea and Mewtwo Returns wasn't part of the line up, but I'm gonna chalk it up to time restraints and already deciding to air Chronciles and the latter assorted movies. That, or TPC doesn't have distribution rights to air in North America or something? I do remember that Destiny Deoxys never aired in CN here in America but on Disney XD (formerly Jetix).

Yea, I was kind of sad Heroes didn't make the cut, that's one of my favorites.

I hope they do these more often. It's fun to watch the anime on Netflix or via your own DVD's, but it's something altogether different when you are watching with 60,000 other people with a live chat feed.
