6th Gen Two New Evolutions: Slurpuff and Aromatisse

I'm getting more excited about this game by the day and I'm not even keeping close attention to the new updates. Those Pokemon do look pretty cool but I'm still struggling to see myself taking much of an interest in Fairy type Pokemon.
 
OMG, I'm so glad these have been revealed!! I was leaning more towards X at first, but that Spritzee evo is perfection! I love how this gen has more feminine pokemon like her. By far my favorite fairy yet!

I hope this is not it. I hope they have a third evo. Especially Swirlix. Well, Swirlix's isn't that bad, but Spritzee's looks weird to me. What do you think those evolutions are based on anyways?
 
Now that some people mentioned Swirlix's evolution looking like a cupcake, I'm liking it more. Like if it really is based on a cupcake (somehow how cotton candy turns into a cupcake) then that's amusing. It's also pretty cute. Some are saying Spritzee's is based on a cabaret dancer, which goes with the French theme.

At least the changes aren't THAT drastic compared to like remoraid and octillery.
 
I am really loving these two, and while I was really hoping that Spritzee was going to get a Fairy/Ghost evo, I am 100% satisfied with both of these.
 
So the Swirlix evo looks like a cupcake? Very interesting to see a cotton candy turn into a cupcake. Spritzee's evo is a cabaret dancer as someone mentioned, which I guess fits in with the French theme of the Kalos region.
 
These seem adorable! But now I want Spritzee. xD Well, they seem legit enough, I mean, he wouldn't post something like that just for advertising, surely? :P
 
I like them, not how I expected them to turn out but I still like them nontheless. At first I was going to use Swirlix as my Fairy-type member, but now I think I'm going to stick with Sylveon unless it has yet another awesome evolution to be revealed.

If Spritzee is a Cabaret Dancer, perhaps we'll catch her at the Moulin Rouge... If I ever get one it will be called Satine :)

I'm not 100% sure what to think of these yet, I think I'll wait and see before judging them...

I like Slurpuff, it's pretty derpy but I'm not so keen on Aromatisse. I was hoping Spritzee would have had a better evolution that this.

So Swirlix goes from a cotton candy to a... meringue? Very interesting there I have to say, and so is the name Slurpuff. Aromatisse has that awesome French feel to it, which is fitting considering Kalos is based on France. But still, loving how cute the English names are!

Now in action, I am officially team Spritzee. It's too damn cute for words. Hell, you might say I have bad taste, but excessively fluffy and furry is a-okay in my book. Words can't describe how glad I received the Poodle pokemon from Furfrou in light of Swirlix's evo. Now I have no complaints. I have my poodle, and a cute furby owl! Best week ever. Ordering Y this weekend!
 
Although I'm still in light shock over the later's design, I'm also in love with the name Aromatisse. It sounds elegant and fitting for the fancy bird. I think English is doing an appealing job with the names for the generation at least.

Swirlix's evolution is still my favorite by appearance, but Aromatisse is already beginning to grow on me with the in-game photos.
 
what do people think of the fact that one is a fragrance pokemon that is able to release a variety of smells and the other having an unbelievable sense of smell—a hundred million times more sensitive than that of humans. With its highly attuned senses, it can distinguish the faintest of odors.(direct quote from the official site) could they be connected in some way other than the fact that they are version exclusives?

I think they are sort of related in that they both a play on senses, Swilix taste, Spritzee smell.
Also, of course they are both pinkish/purple cute little fairies. Moreover, the relation to sensory abilities seems like the more definitive thread between them.

EDIT: Z verion we need to have a sight, feel, and hearing set of fairies!
