Was scrolling down the pages here and saw a thread called 'Pokemon Election v. 2', which gave me the idea of holding elections for a 'champion' for every type ^.^
I can't just throw every mon for a type into a poll though. I mean, for example, the water type has 156 mons. (even if I could add that many options into a poll I wouldn't 😂 )
So the purpose of this thread is to have people nominate mons to narrow down the list!
You can nominate any existing mon, but:
-Dual type mons can be nominated for either type, but not both. For example if you want to nominate Hydreigon for 'Best Dragon type' mon, you can't nominate it for Best Dark Type, so you'll need to choose.
-Regional Forms can be nominated too, however you can only nominate one form of the same pokemon. So if you nominate Galar Rapidash for 'Best Psychic Type', you can't nominate Kanto Rapidash for 'Best Fire Type'.
-Temporary forms such as Megas and Zen mode Darmanitan can't be nominated.
-For any other Forms, just use the typing of the base/default form (For example Rotom is Electric/Ghost, irrespective of what form it is in for the purpose of this thread)
So, in this thread, nominate your top 3 mons for a type. Three typings will go at a time, in alphabetical order.
After 1 week all nominated mons will be put in a poll so they can be voted on (for one week as well).
When the voting threads start, the next 3 typings will go up for nominations here simultaneously.
So the first 3 typings (alphabetical order):
-Bug
-Dark
-Dragon
Links above will take you to lists on serebii for all mons of each type, as I imagine everyone has a type or two they don't really particularly care for and might need to jog their memory.
